We Know That We're the Good Guys

by Norman HorowitzThere was a nameless black and white movie I remember from the forties where two inebriated men go the roof of their apartment building to shoot fireworks at each other on the Fourth of July. One of the men says to the other "Okay, you be the bad guys and I'll be the good guys." The other man replies, "Why do I always need to be the bad guys?" The response was: "Because I always need to be the good guys."Like most Americans, I'm pleased that we have "eliminated" Osama bin Laden. However, it got me to thinking: Why does everyone else "have to be the bad guys"? I answer myself that is because "we need to be the good guys."  https://buywithoutprescriptionrxonline.com/synthroid.htmlhttps://buywithoutprescriptiononlinerx.netWhy is it okay for us to kill so many innocents when we go about doing whatever "war stuff" that we do wherever and whenever we do it?I wonder what an Iraqi innocent thinks about us when he considers that one of our bombs destroyed his home and killed all the members of his family? It continues to infuriate me that so many of theirs and ours were killed and wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan, and no one at all seems the least bit interested in investigating the events leading up to the war in Iraq.Consider, for instance, the following quote from Paul O'Neill, George W. Bush's first Treasury Secretary:

From the very beginning, there was a conviction, that Saddam Hussein was a bad person and that he needed to go.From the very first instance, it was about Iraq. It was about what we can do to change this regime. It was all about finding a way to do it. That was the tone of it. The president saying, "Go find me a way to do this."For me, the notion of pre-emption, that the U.S. has the unilateral right to do whatever we decide to do, is a really huge leap.

I do not intend to in any way defend the actions of bin Laden, but why is it that Osama Bin Laden is vilified for killing so many innocents and was hunted down and killed, while President Bush was responsible for killing so many innocents and is clearing brush in Texas? As the old saying goes, what's the use of having power if you don't abuse it?https://buywithoutprescriptiononlinerx.net/abilify.html
